What We Did Today
Today was a double block! Ms. Lees was absent today so we had a sub! We did note taking about The Manor on chapter 2 in the pathway textbook. We had to make a chart of the Women's rights on chapter 2 and 5. We had to compare women rights in the middle ages and women rights of today. If we finished the notes and chart we had to read and do chapter 8 questions of There Will Be Wolves.
Learning Intentions
Were learning about the Middle Ages because it gives us a better understanding of how life was back then and how life is today. It's a part of history that we need to know. It's interesting to know how the women's rights were so different compared to today. It was that kind of day when the whole class is concentrating to get there work done!
Connections/Reflections
Today I felt really concentrated. I got all my work finished. I kinda felt like I was on FIRE! I feel even more concentrated when I have my headphones on. It makes the class more fun! Some people can't concentrate when doing work and listening to music at the same time. It was kind of hard sitting down the whole time because of my tailbone...Some how I managed!..PHEW.
I really loved reading about the women's rights back then and the women's rights today. It was very interesting. Shouldn't love be "love at first sight"?..Not an arranged marriage by your parents. I wouldn't like to be one of those woman back then because I would want to control my own life and make my own decisions. Back then that was how women lived their life. They didn't know any better. I'm so grateful that now every thing's equal. :)
